Val Holland

Val started her golfing career at the age of 7. She represented South Africa as an amateur for many
years. Val became a member of the PGA of South Africa in 2003 and has been coaching since. She
has been the South African Women’s National coach since 2004 to date. She has also been head
coach of the Louis 57 Junior Golf Academy since 2012 also coaching numerous players on the
European and Sunshine Tour for both men and ladies. Val has been instrumental in the development
of junior golf and golf in general in the Southern Cape. Val’s coaching philosophy is “create a simple
understanding of good fundamentals for long lasting results for all levels of golfers.”

Garth Milne

Garth works as a golf fitness specialist and has been helping professional and amateur golfers for the past 18 years. He completed his BSc Honours in human kinetics and is also certified through the National Academy of Sports Medicine, the CHEK institute and is a TPI Level 3 medical and fitness
practitioner. Garth believes that your swing is based around what you can physically do. If you work on improving your body’s movement patterns, you’ll be better able to swing the golf club. Garth currently works with numerous professional golfers playing on the PGA and European Tours, the LGPA and LET as well as the Sunshine Tour. Garth also works closely with the PGA of South Africa running their Sport Science module. However, his real passion is developing junior athletes
who know how to play golf.

Vaughn Groenewald

Vaughn began his golfing career at the age of 10, quickly rising to prominence by becoming a Junior Springbok at just 12 years old. He represented three different provinces: Eastern Transvaal, Northern Transvaal, and Southern Transvaal.

Turning professional in 1995, Vaughn enjoyed a highly successful career, securing seven victories on the Sunshine Tour. With a professional career spanning 29 years, his extensive knowledge of the game is invaluable and can help golfers maximize their performance.

Vaughn is particularly passionate about junior golf and is committed to growing the sport in the Garden Route. His dedication to nurturing young talent and promoting the game makes him an indispensable asset to the golfing community.

Arno Muller

Arno is a qualified level 1 TPI trainer. He attained an honour’s degree in biomechanics and human
psychology from Stellenbosch University. He was part of the Louise Oosthuizen golf academy as a
junior and aspired to play golf professionally. Being a golfer from the age of 12 years old. He has a strong belief that exercise is medicine and that we don’t get too old to play but we get old because we stopped playing. Our bodies are incredible machines and we have the opportunity to improve our golf, health and overall life by exercising and working on our weaknesses.

Nicole Loesch

Nicole is a PGA Teaching Professional who started her career in golf at the age of 14, representing
both the Boland and Southern Cape provinces as a junior and in the open women’s division. She
attended Georgia State University on a golf scholarship where she graduated with a BA in Psychology.
Since turning professional in 2013, she has played a significant role in the junior golf development in
the Southern Cape, also being the coach for the Louis 57 Junior Golf Academy’s Performance Tier
since 2015. Nicole’s golf philosophy is practical and simplistic ensuring an understandable and fun
experience for golfers of all levels and ages.
